I spend a good chunk of my time doing things outside of my classes. On this page is an overview of the different things I do.
Activities
Pingree Tech Tutor – Captain (4 Years)
From freshmen year to senior year, I have volunteered at my high school’s tech department. Over the years, I have worked in upgrading the school’s technological resources, as well as building projects to help make the lives of Pingree students easier. Alongside working in the tech department, I also volunteer as a “first-res ponder” to any technology-related problems that a student might encounter on a daily basis.

The MIT Lemelson InvenTeams is a $10,000 grant for high school teams to make a device that is capable of changing the world. Pingree school created a team and tried for the grant in the first time in 2016, where we fortunately ended up receiving the grant.
Pingree Science Team – Captain (4 Years)
Pingree has been participating in the North Shore Science league ever since I had joined as a freshmen. We do meets every month with events in biology, chemistry, physics and the occasional computer science. Currently, I am one of the 3 captains of the team.
Pingree Math Team (4 Years)
Pingree participates in the local math team league, with Pingree placing in the top 3 for two of the three years that I have been a part of the team.
Pingree Hackers – Captain & Founder (2016)
Pingree Hackers is a club that I created in which we update or fix technical problems around the school. Some of our current projects include updating the athletic department’s setup for recording games and making the tech office more energy efficient.

My high school has a subsection called the Educational Resource Center which specializes in giving students the resources that they need in order to succeed in school. I worked as a student tutor in Math, Physics, and Chemistry for the ERC ever since sophomore year.
Pingree Quant Center Tutor (2016)
Pingree opened a new subsection called the Quant Center in 2016. The QC focuses on creating resources for students in the quantitative fields (math and science). I have worked in the QC as both as a tutor as well as a developer for projects such as online math practice problem generation.
